"My birth name is Hitoshi Taga - American taken name Roy (Hitoshi-Taga) Miller aka Pumpkin Head. I have either owned or seen every Isshinryu tape availableand was quite impressed when I was privy to the tapes starring A.J. Advincula. I already knew that they were going to be good, but did not expect the quality andquantity of information that was delivered. These tapes far exceed the norm for instructional tapes.They delve into history, analysis and comparative studies as well. I personally found the many subtle(maybe even to the point of subliminal) tidbits of information that werewoven into the main emphasis outstanding if not ingenious. An example of this is if you pay close attention to bunkai to specific kata. You will see that the Uke(s) are performingbunkai from other katas!!!So not only are you viewingone kata, but the interconnection of multiple katas. This I thought to be very impressive. I've been in Isshinryu since 1971ish? and thought Iknew it - seen it all. But hello......there were things I never even thought about, more or less practiced.I could say more but was overwhelmed at the amount of information to the point of saturation. Each time you view these tapes, you will get something out of them, no matter how may times you watch. "I just wanted to tell you that I received my first tape from you, (#2 Seisan) and it is without a doubt, far and above the best Karate instructional tape I have ever seen! I have owned a large number of videos, and the level of instruction, and detail on yours is fantastic.

"I have a number of Panther brand videos, including some of the Angi Uezu Isshinryu series. Those others are pathetic in comparison to yours. I also have picked up a number of bad habits from the other Isshinryu tapes I own. The extra movements from the Uezu tapes (I am not sure why he vibrates after each movement).
